Here are some complaints of students:
"My faci always delays the class, so every time I reach in north canteen, there has been a lot of people inside and I really have no enough time to queue up behind because I need to prepare the meeting 3 presentation."
----James,Year 1 student
“The queue very long sia. They
should prepare some of the food in advance so that we do not have to wait so
long”
----Meily,
Year 1 student
“They should give the more popular
stalls bigger spaces so that they can hire more workers, which leads to lesser waiting
time for us all”
----Jessie,
Year 2 student

How would some students deal with long queues?
There are many suggestions on how to shorten waiting times when queueing up for food in RP. However, not all of them are actually practical, but I will share it with you guys anyways.
The most suggested methods is to separate the break time between the different years, such as letting the year ones have their break for about half n hour before releasing the second years, and then subsequently the third years after another half hour. This way, the amount of students released at one time will be less, thus shortening the queue time. Another method would be to have the staff of the stalls cook their more popular dishes in advance, preferably half an hour before break time in order to serve the customers more quickly. This helps to reduce the waiting time too. The last suggested solution would be to develop an app for the students to order their food before break, so that the stall owners can prepare it in advance. After that, the students would just have to head downstairs to collect their food and make payment. This eliminates the waiting time taken for the food to cook, and thus, reduces waiting time in queues.
